In this particular case, on one hand I have a MediaTek Octa-Core, and on the other I have a Intel Celeron with two cores. Seems like a no-brainer, but information on the internet seems to look down on MediaTek. According to someone in the other thread, Media tech processors are ARM based, which is suboptimal because Chrome OS is based on x86
